Michael Maigeri Ede is the son of Honourable John Ede, a senator in the Second Nigerian Republic House of Assembly, and Awidi Ede. He was raised in Nigeria before relocating to the United Kingdom, where he completed his studies and established his family.
Michael Ede is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Uplift11 Sports and Maigmike Consulting, an IT consulting and management firm designed to meet the demands of the modern business environment. Through his leadership, he has built a reputation for strategic vision, innovation, and excellence across both the sports and business sectors.
In recognition of his impact and leadership, Michael was named “Top CEO and Sports Agent of the Year 2023” by the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) for his outstanding leadership, dedication, and commitment to the industry. He was also recognised as one of the “Men Leaders to Look Up to in 2022” by Passion Vista Magazine for his influence as a global force in business and sports. Earlier, he received the “Players’ Agent of the Year 2019” award at the Nigeria Pitch Awards.
Michael is also an author. His debut book, ONE SHOT (Business Case for Success), was released on 03.03.2023 at an exclusive launch event. The book reflects his philosophy on seizing opportunities and building success through vision, discipline, and execution.
In 2020, he laid the foundation for Uplift11 Sports, a sports-leveraging company and platform designed to support, develop, and empower sporting talent, serving as an incubator hub for athletes.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Biochemistry from the University of Jos, Nigeria, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Manchester Metropolitan University Business School (MMUBS), United Kingdom.
With extensive experience and expertise in strategy, entrepreneurship, international business, project management, business analysis, and transformational business restructuring, Michael has worked with some of the world’s leading financial institutions, consulting firms, and biopharmaceutical companies.
He is a member of the prestigious Forbes Business Council—an invitation-only network of senior business leaders who collaborate and exchange insights globally. Michael is also affiliated with the International Association of Top Professionals, the Professional Football Agents Association, and the Association of MBAs. In addition, he holds Diamond status with Hilton Honors.
His work and insights have been featured across several international media platforms, including Forbes, BBC Business News Radio, Haute Living, Flaunt Magazine, The Jerusalem Post, and TechTimes, among others.
Michael is a member of the Conservative Party and a supporter of Rishi Sunak. He is also a passionate supporter of Arsenal F.C. Michael currently resides in London, United Kingdom, with his family.
